Someone told me today that their technical insider friend at Comcast told them that no matter what you do with VPNs, etc., any data going through ISP infrastructure is visible to the gov’t.
Perhaps this is common knowledge and it’s not too surprising to me but reinforces the fact that all we can do is optimize around not being low hanging fruit for their surveillance efforts.
the Feds have listening stations at all major internet junctions. there is one not far from me.
