Testing the new Bill Pay feature, I had a balance of 0.1 BTC and 4 accounts set to pull the first business day in January.

3 of them successfully pulled with Bitcoin sold to cover the bill. Yay!

I got 25k sats back for the December bill pay promo. Yay!

Of the 4 accounts set to pull, Citi Bank pulled 2 different auto payments for 2 different cards. As of yesterday 1 went through and 1 did not yet...

This morning I wake up to a $30 returned check fee and a locked Citi account with my available credit at $0. Not yay. 🥲🫠

Why did 1 Citi card successfully get paid but the other was returned? The Strike bank account info was the same on both and there was sufficient balance in Bitcoin.

I just manually made the payment from the small amounts of USD I hold in other accounts, but I want to figure out what happened so it doesn't happen again.

binance fixes this
