Substack has this feature when you subscribe to someone it goes, this person recommends X,Y,Z and its very effective. It's word of mouth discovery.

If you subscribe to a podcast and that app says, hey, this podcast recommends ... it would be more decentralized because the feeds would be coming from podroll.

I don't know many podcast app developers but if you do, encourage them to increase support for podroll! I'm going to start adding them to my feeds.
