The mandolin is the only kitchen gadget I have that's truly terrifying.
It genuinely is a widower / widow maker of the kitchen! I cringe when witnessing people using one haphazardly!
I want to get a nice one, I think I should probably get rid of the one I have. The plastic on it is starting to make me nervous and it isn't quite wide enough.
