The nostr is young and chaotic but therein lies a ton of opportunity, particularly by using data to improve the experience.

Look at noStrudel's HEALTH view...

Each column is a relay and each row is a note. Green means we got it. Red means we didn't.

A red box could appear for any number of reasons. Maybe the relay never saw that note. Maybe the connection timed out. A red column could mean I missed a relay payment or have been rate-limited. A red row... well that's the unknown unknown.

Delivery is fundamental to consistency and a lot of times as a user you have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. noStrudel is refreshing with its heath view and activity log.

I recommend everyone give it a look and share any insights from this deeper view into the nostr.

I was just checking this out today because some nostr stuff doesn't work well from my work network. Looks like there are only a few relays that ARE working through this network.

Ideally each one would have green sometimes and each note would have 2-3 greens.

When you send from noStrudel you learn more as it shows immediately which relays accepted the note and shows useful errors if they don't.

This triggered a few paid subscriptions and now when I send it's a quick satisfying all green.

Loving this client. Somehow both lightweight and feature-rich.

One thing interesting is the paid filter.nostr.wine doesn't work from here, while the free nostr.wine does.

BTW, which client did you see this article from? I posted it with shipyard but don't see it in noStrudel's Profile->Articles or in normal note streams.

I'm indeed seeing it in my noStrudel note feed.

Ok, thanks for confirming
