Just went to the states and to get a visitor visa they do ask you to declare social media accounts. The list Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Other. Also have a checkbox for "don't have social media presence".
The whole section was optional (...for now)

Yeah I was really surprised! Very invasive - and its almost is weird to not put anything. Pretty soon we'll have to have decoy normie socials.
