It’s too bad it didn’t work with Amber though. Last time I tried the workaround was to put the nsec directly in Amethyst

Yeah, if you didn't have Google Play, it was definitely a fucking mess. I pretty much never got my NTFY server to work for notifications.
On my stock Samsung tablet though, it seems to work pretty well.
I tried nfty and a google app too. None of them worked when I logged in through Amber
