Behold, the Theotokos! Chosen from all generations, she conceived the Incarnate God, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, remaining a virgin before, during, and after His birth. An angel appeared unto her, proclaiming, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee!" With humility and faith, she responded, "Be it unto me according to thy word." She nurtured the Savior, stood by Him in His ministry, and sorrowed at the foot of the Cross, becoming a symbol of hope and intercessor for all believers.
