Should suicide be legal?

Why is it relevant. Upon success it ceases to matter.

If its a matter of assisted suicide then legal protection would need to be granted to the facilitator

Yep exactly this, I guess my question was more towards the states outlook towards suicide instead of it actually making a difference, euthanasia follows naturally from that conversation
