a D&D character background idea:
Someone who sees ranged attacks as an act of cowardice and only attacks their enemies face to face.
Meaning, a warrior who refuses to use a bow, a rogue who’ll never throw a dagger, a wizard who punches their spells on your face, a bard whispering their song in your ear.
Does seem like survival is a real priority.
