it's a simple way to manage access to your content. i keep followers to a minimum always and investigate new followers. saves time later.

i think an "unfollow" button for a follower would be an excellent tool. i've always had to block followers i don't want attached to my account, which it doesn't even appear you can do here? being able to scale removal on the account origin end would be sweet.

I’ll add a tool to unfollow dead npubs so it’s easy to clean your follow list

This idea came up after trying to solve an issue with #[6]​ where my filter.nostr.wine relay wasn’t connecting. Turns out my follow list was too large and it was breaking the relay’s websocket data limit.

I thought it would help to reduce the amount of data relays need to process by letting users purge dead accounts (ex.: 3 months inactive) they are following.
