When on jury service have a couple of excuses up your sleeve in case it's a fraud trial. Unless you are ok with not going anywhere and listening to a long boring trial for months on end.

Unless its a BS law. then the only proper course is to shut your trap and go for jury nullification.
I loved my jury duty. A three day GBH and theft trial, where the accused pleaded self defence
Yeah I liked mine too despite the defendent potential being a grooming teacher, it reminded me of the film Rashomon. Especially at the end where I didnt find out what actually happened as two counts went to retrial.
However I assume nothing....many years later I saw the guy when I was working at a farmers market....took me a while to click why he seemed so familiar!
