If it makes you feel any better, then about 1/4 of bites are dry bites meaning no venom emitted. I was bitten by a venomous snake; i surprised it at night so it was a defensive dry bite not a predatory bite. Venom is expensive to make. My hand swelled up and my joints hurt a little but that was it (afaik 😂 maybe this is why i am the way i am 🫠). Anyways, hopefully you have a plan in case of a bite but just wanted to share my experience with you too 🤙
