It’s 2023. Someone must do something about this. And I’m not talking about some PHP self cloud overgrown calendar serving over 3 layers of webdav.

Why can’t #samba authenticate from PAM like anyone else?

No Windows. Linux server, Unix client. Settled with a simple samba server that can only be accessed through the VPN.
