How do you write long form content on it?

Long form is just markdown. Just add a new note into one of the notebooks in Comet and start writing. Adding in markdown syntax will automatically render it within the note. When you have everything the way you want in the note, make sure you are logged in using the Nostr profile you want to publish it with, add the relays you want it published to, and click the paper-plane icon in the upper right of the window to send it.

Yeah, I think his OP was confusing, as writing the article and publishing it to relays are two different steps.

I write with a VS Code plugin and publish it with my Sybil CLI, or I wrote it in Obsidian and publish with the Nostr plug-in. I don't use any Nostr app for any of that.

#Alexandria doesn't do 30023s, yet. Have to add a Markdown renderer, for that.

I think that is by design. He intends Comet to only store the notes locally unless and until you are fully ready to publish it. So no 30024 drafts saved to relays.

There are a couple things holding me back from fully embracing Comet:

1. No easy way to sync my notes to my Nextcloud server.

2. No Android app for when I want to write on my tablet.

3. No hierarchical nesting of notebooks.

Maybe I need to give Obsidian another shot...
