13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar was composed of Bosnian Muslims with some Catholic Croat soldiers.

They took an oath of allegiance to Adolf Hitler and Croatian leader Ante Pavelić.

Remnants of the division fought until May 8th, 1945.
