I’m still stacking sats to get my cold card to lock up my savings. I don’t want to use what I have saved to buy it, I have a separate wallet collecting sats so I can secure my wallet in cold storage. Still always off, but I’ll have one one of these days.

That’s a good plan. You don’t need a ColdCard to keep your sats safe as long as you follow the right steps. The most important thing is keeping all your on-chain backups completely offline from the start.
