Non sapevo esistesse una parola dispregiativa per noi italiani equivalente alla parola negro.
Interessante, ma la cosa offende più chi l'ha pensata che chi la riceve come offesa.

The term wop came about when Italians started migrating in droves to America in the early 1900's - it means without passport. Basically the equivalent of calling someone an illegal immigrant. But the intent is to be fowl and cause mental anguish.

When people bash on Italians I just assume it's because they can't cook, or conduct business, have bad taste and have small dicks.
