I dont know what you mean by snappy workflow, but for my use case, it is definitely the fastest and most reliable of all those.

nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx has too much faith in Signal. Once you start linking devices/desktops you'll quickly learn messages are never deleted. Disappearing messages does not work if you have the setting enabled on one linked device and not the other.
Concur with the first point, not too sure about the second. Regardless, XMPP the standard. Who needs normies? Keep it niche.
