I've been testing lnurl pay to different wallet types with messages

As far as custodial wallets go, Strike is by far the best for showing messages received in the notification tray. Also discovered that Jack and a few other accounts require 100 sats minimum for someone to lnurl pay them.

Next best is Wallet of Satoshi. The notification informs you of amount, but not the message until you open the wallet and view history.

After that, Fountain doesnt give notifications, but the message shows in wallet view but doesnt support emojis

Alby i rank after Fountain. It does support emojis, but the receiving side is buried with little reason for users to look at it.

What other wallets should i try out? And do you like receiving messages with sats or dont care? Would you fill out a survey with the promise of more sats at the end? How about watch a video where a QR code for an lnurl withdraw was interspersed within?

I connected my alby LN address to Zeus but I think on the TestFlight version of Zeus you can run your own node etc

so in theory, if i send to your alby lightning address, it should create an invoice to pay to your node?

as this isnt leveraging keysends, they would either need to map the comment to that or itd be dropped i would think

That's one drawback of directly using your node. The messages get buried in all the rest. No idea how to easily unearthen these messages.

You just did this with my ln.tips

2 sats. (I've gotten 1 before though so I don't think 2 is the limit)

I do like getting messages from friends yes.

I have also gotten ads/links to things. This actually is nice when it fits what I seem to be in the mood for already and frustrating when not like a normal ad🤷🏽

Such as once I was posting music links and someone posted their band link and a flyer to their show which was in my area. Then on another post their newest music video, so it was really easy to check them out and just relink all their info.

A QR maybe. But I like the links in the message because on telegram where the notification comes in, it gives me a full preview of if the link is legit or spammy or interesting, or if it's a YouTube video it just plays and such
