Lol, no-one who has been pushed down a rabbit hole to read Rothbard and Hayek is going to suddenly wake up and believe in the system again, that’s a one-way street.

I believe these people are not remotely impressive and are so far up their own arses, so disconnected from reality, that they believe they can control everything.

They can label libertarianism as a threat but they don’t understand how or why it is a threat, only that it is. For this reason they can’t see how they’re undermining themselves, because they’re not actually that smart.

You’re acting like these people are flawless and get everything right all the time when the reality is they’re wizards behind a curtain relying on their complex contraption to keep people occupied and distracted - the libertarians already know what’s behind the curtain, getting more of them means more people know.

It happens all the time. Just because someone reads a book and even agrees with that book doesnt make one a libertarian. That libertarians and anarchists are even praising some politicians for nothing more than words, speaks volumes.

Not praising anyone mate. Actions speak louder than words and I already said Milei being ineffective would be the worst result.

At least one can have hope for the actions of a libertarian - when you get a red or blue totalitarian elected you know EXACTLY what you’re gonna get and it won’t be good for anyone.

Never said you were praising anyone. And I think you are missing a big part of my point which I suppose I didnt make clear. Milei is NOT a libertarian. He plays one on TV. A libertarian doesnt run for president. And one who is a proponent on austro-economics does not plan to go from one debased fiat to a foreign debased fist. Everything about that is wrong on so many levels. It would give the dollar a much needed boost though.
