I don’t understand what Marvel was thinking. Captain Marvel grossed over $1 billion, but the character was nearly absent from Infinity War and Endgame. Then they make her share her sequel with two other superheroines.

Hey character didn't exist in the MCU during infinity war.

They jammed her movie in just before Endgame trying to hype her up as the major key for endgame 🤷🏽 then yeah they cut all her stuff, or maybe they shoehorned her in to what they already had.

To me it's more interesting that most of their support hero roster gets introduced in someone else's movie, then had their own movie, a couple side things in others movies to build them up, then water all that you feel invested in someone like hulk or Thor.

But in this they have captain marvel a movie. Then we hear nothing from her for like ever. Then they give her a team up movie as if we're supposed to care about all our em already? Like Ms marvel had her own TV show that in not sure how many people saw, and Monica rambeau was in someone else's TV show for like 2 episodes... Yet I'm supposed to be invested in all 3 already?

I hear Kamala is the best thing about this Marvels movie. Like they really let her shine. But the rest of it I'm like... I thought y'all had these movies planned like 30years to come or something, where's the buildup?

Like NGL I live me some comics but I don't know a ton about the major superheroes unless they are like the main. Like Spider-Man right.

So I'm looking at the trailer like... What... Does... Monica rambeau actually do though?

She's captain marvel light(no pun intended)? Or?

My recollection is that she can convert her body to light and travel at light speed.

Ok that sounds cool.

You’re right; Captain Marvel was released after Infinity War. In my memory they were reversed because she showed up in Infinity War’s post-credits scene. I did see Ms. Marvel before I canceled my Disney+ subscription, and I enjoyed the first half of it. They followed the Peter Parker formula—teenager gains super powers but still has teenage problems—and gave it a Muslim twist.

I was meh on Ms marvel. But I was happy to see where it would go. 🤷🏽
