blackrock is using coinbase for it custodian for the bitcoin ETF. but the contract says blackrock doesnt actually have to own the bitcoin to offer it. so they could offer puts and calls and drive the price in any direction without owning the asset. thats how we get market manipulation

They can "inflate" bitcoin and reel in more fiat gainz at bitcoin's expense. It's guaranteed to fail eventually but to quote Keynes, "in the long run, we're all dead."

And yet, when caught with their pants down, they will cry, "its all bitcoins fault"... Will they attempt a fork at that point?!
