Once the battery needs to be replaced, cost is a lot, better to sell, but who will buy 2nd hand.
Tyre replacement seems to 3x more frequent too, due to weight.
And there is still top up cost via supercharger, if you live in an apartment.
Insurance cost is high.
Mining for lithium, cobalt, nickel and cobalt does not help.
