After doing my own research, this seems like a very bad move because this repository is centralized, which means that it can be pressured by governments to remove apps or can remove apps for political or any other reasons they wish. If cake wallet is going to go this route, I'm probably going to end up leaving cake wallet.
There’s no way to install any app on iOS if not from App Store.

I know for a fact that is not correct. It is not easy, granted, but it is possible.
