I tried doing an update and got stuck. After a day or so of waiting for migration / update it appeared it was not working.
I’m not sure how to fix this.
I gave up and tried recovering wallet from seedphrase. Seemed to be basically nothing in there 🥴
Are you recovering a lightning node with open channels? If so, the seed phrase is not enough. You need the channel information as well.
Also, after you enter the seed phrase it takes a good amount of time to sync your wallet.

I had closed my lightening channels a while back as no one was routing any transactions over my channels. I left the BTC in the on chain bitcoin wallet hoping to give lightning another try at some point. The node sat running and I didn’t think anything of it until recently and that’s when I discovered I couldn’t get into the node via Umbrel and then tried seed phrase. Would Umbrel be able to assist or do I consider this a donation to the cause?
If the seed phrase is correct you should be able to recover your sats.

Thank you for trying to assist. I ended up following Umbrels directions and reflashing a new microSD with the Umbrel download and I was able to get the node up and running. It looks like I may still have my small amount of sats on the bitcoin lightning wallet which I think I can access once the bitcoin node is done synchronizing. Thank you again for trying!
