One of the best quotes in Bitcoin history for me is from #[0] because I live with it everyday:

“Holding Bitcoin is simple, but it’s not easy.”

Everyday I’m faced with the consequences of holding an asset which personally will make or break myself, my family and my child’s future. Everyday I’m faced with an altered fiat reality where I have to reassess if I’m still protecting my families future or holding onto something that is a result of my insidious echo chamber. It’s not fucking easy. I’ve been doing this for 10 years now and a huge portion of that is a mental struggle because you have to fight your emotions — I have to constantly drown them with information, data, opinions, and try my best to make sure I’m hearing balanced arguments to ensure my thesis is still valid.

So basically yea - holding is simple, but often requires significant mental fortification even for someone who has been around for 10 years now.

I think all you can ever do is make the right decisions with the information available to you at the time. Once that's done there's a certain sense in which the outcome no longer matters, because that's outside your control.

At this point if BTC goes to zero then I would feel more sad for the rest of the world than upset with myself for betting on it.
