Do I not think I have a hyperempathic response? Of course not.

The suicide of the west is instigated by a desire to feel good about oneself by "caring". Caring about "the environment", or foreigners, or ethnic minorities, or women, or people with perverse sexual desires and behaviors. It's all contributing to the demise or our culture, in part because those who occupy that end of the political spectrum just need to appear like they care while they don't actually. Otherwise, their issues should be getting better, not worse.

My hope and prayer too. I thought the cultural shift happened in 2016 with Trump's election, then I thought the scamdemic woke us up, and I am less sure now but still see the possibility of our demise on our horizon and thinking of how I can mitigate it's harm on my community.

Nope. It started in 2008, occupy wall street and trump was a reaction, then the pandemic was peak woke, now we are headed towards the resolution which historically is all-out war. In the next 5 years we will see woke give way to the harsh reality of war threatening societal survival. Trad is the only way to survive war so society will snap back from woke. By 2028/2030 we will be fully Trad again.
