Lots of accounts who complain about engagement (not necessarily the quoted one) have it the other way around. It’s like they’re screaming into the void, waiting for a nonexistent algo to pick up their notes and bring them to us
I posted a bit and lurked for 3-4 months before I finally just started commenting on people's notes, then people started talking back and forth and I realized that was where nostr shines. Real people (for the most part) just looking to discuss random things. I always try to tell the newbies to engage, engage, engage.
