Those that see nostr get it, there is definitely first mover advantage as there is in any economy.
That’s what people get when they see. Nostr is not a new social media app, it’s a parallel Bitcoin economy that can’t be killed.

Sunk cost fallacy is strong.
It’s OK though, we should be respectful. Some people like ads, being data mined, having their screen time sold from under them, adopting corporate bylaws as core beliefs, etc.

It started bad, but then he started singing the praises of Nostr. At least that's what it sounded like to me
Yeah . The middle is a quote he's using as an example of people co-opting Hayeks speech to "shill" nostr. The rest are his complaints

Sounds like someone who has no idea what they’re talking about, has not actually used Nostr enough to understand it (if at all), and/or is jealous because they have something to lose with Nostr’s success.
Never take seriously anyone who speaks in absolutes.
Holding bitcoin on a non-custodial hot wallet is not the same as holding bitcoin on an exchange.
