Probably nothing. Nothing at all.

I know this is significant...

But I don't understand it.

My phone -> Tor -> His phone

No public relays.

Did you said that citrine is wat 😳

Yeah I know but I thought it wasn't suppose to send messages as an actual relay, that's cool.

It does if you open the connection to the outside world via Orbot.

Nice, didn't know Orbot let you publish a local service.

That's... Wow.

Can someone explain this please

I agree. I want one as well.

In so far as Tor isn't a "public relay".

Citrine to Citrine?

Oh wow just realized you can tap the node icon at the top of amethysts DM screen to pick the relays used. Is this per DM?

How do I make this configuration? I'm using Orbot + Primal/Damus on iOS. Or is this only for Android? I have the impression that Orbot works better on Android.

I don't know if it works. It requires iOS to open connections to the phone via Tor.

Sounds a bit like Holochain there

That is wild.

Droid only? Wild!

Aren't DMs signed forever by the author and are then easily leakable?

In this way, the DM goes from my phone to his phone without anyone seeing it. But if people get access to his private key AND the DM event, they can decrypt it.

And that is the same design of Signal and others: You have to have both the seed/key and the local database to decrypt.

You are amazing. I wish I could help, but all I can do is sit and watch and admire from the side.

TOR can be seriously useful sometimes

This is definitely significant.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for hosting my own outbox relay on my Umbrella, though?

The one on the app store is definitely designed to just be a backup of your notes, but is there a way to do something similar to this, or install a different relay implementation that would do the trick?

Well done fellow privacy focused plebian. This could be a good video tutorial at some point. I think if I start a channel, which I'm considering, this will be a certain addition. That said there will be a lot of things to go through.

Nostr via floppy disk next 😏

I wonder if there's a way to incorporate I2P instead of Tor as a Citrine relay.
