Yes with copic, not so much with AD. I have a set of 3 gray copic markers that I will use next, just waiting on my prismacolor to run out. I like to use things up to the very last drop. 😅

same for me 😄 an advantage of ADs is that they don’t blur certain ballpoint pens like BIC crystals, copics completely wash them away.
