The fact that I can get fine from a camera for going 37 mph, in a modern car, on an empty road is the perfect encapsulation of how much freedom has been taken from us in the name of financing a bloated bureaucracy that definitively makes all of our lives worse.
And our taxes pay the people who fine us. We basically fund our own enslavement.
