I've about have my Linux machine ready to go, still need to download the file. Really, though I don't want to pay the energy cost for my computer. I've been eyeballing Raspberry Pi and would really like some input as the best route (equipment, operating systems) before I pull the trigger.

I have a raspberry pi but couldn't get it to work (I think the SD card slot is faulty).

I'm currently running two nodes:

1. An old laptop running Ubuntu/Umbrel

2. A leased node on Voltage.cloud (going to migrate to Start9 very soon).
