The sawing mechanism is similar to the dutch system used in windmills. But still a good use of a resource.

With a few modern tweeks in regards design and materials i can see this tyoe of technology being used in sustainable off grid communities.

What would you change? I honestly don't see much that I would bother changing from those short clips.

Probably the intakes, water catchment systems. Maybe look at the saw blades.

But too be honest, your right. I Probably wouldn't change a thing either.

Needs a nice thatched roof too like this one in Norfolk 🙂

I only know about it because one of the people who spend ages restoring it bought some tiles off me at one point. I would love to see it too.
