1、我不能说世界全部国家一定都没有，可是普遍情况是现代基本没有......"While the practice of churches offering sanctuary is still observed in the modern era, it no longer has any legal effect and is respected solely for the sake of tradition."......“no longer has any legal effect”，就是没有法律意义/不是现代法律的意思。

2、“没有法律法规支持，所谓的骑士精神只是一句空话”

不是的。如果看美国移民局官方发言，就能知道两点：

第一，没有法律法规支持, “Officials with a warrant can arrest undocumented immigrants regardless of whether they’re at a house of worship like a church, synagogue or mosque”

第二，移民局自己承认“generally avoids arrests at sensitive locations, including places of worship”

也就是说，美国就是你说的情况啊，没有法律法规支持，可是同时保持这个精神。

3、必须理解Sanctuary和Asylum的区别。两者都是庇护，可是，Asylum通常是指有法律条文依据的庇护，而Sanctuary在现代通常指没有法律条文依据、或多或少是依靠执法机构的文明程度、君子程度、人道精神才可能有效。如果是有现行法律条文依据，我们就不会叫Sanctuary而是会说Asylum了。
