I didn’t know Indonesia banned Communism 🤯 it’s still a VERY collectivist culture and the gov subsidise a LOT of shit they shouldn’t which just makes things worse. They are very collectivist though, it’s more centred around community and family, which may sound nice, but i certainly leads to it’s own problems… my partner is Indo so I have experienced much of the negative aspects to a small degree.
