Tbh yes. Meta has been directionless for many years now. And every recent move has been copying Twitter. Right up to Threads being a literal Twitter clone 😂
They're fading into irrelevance because their idea of innovation is acquisition and driving out the competition. That can only work for so long as Microsoft learned.

Apple is beginning to fade into irrelevance, as well. Increasing levels of product quality degradation, unaffordable price boosts, a very apparent lack of innovation. Let's be honest, the Vision Pro just seems like them trying to make a better copy of the Meta Quest. Many people may not admit this, but Amazon is slowly fading away too. Decentralization will have a MASSIVE impact on e-commerce and, as we have already seen, social media. People seem to forget that Amazon owns Twitch. Google owns YouTube (which is also becoming legacy technology). All of these are becoming obsolete. Now... if we could get a decentralized streaming service, that would be dope! We're a long ways from that, though! 😅... or are we?! 🤔
