The solution to “autobesity” is NOT to change car parking spaces. It’s to fix the root of the problem and get rid of these over-sized, wasteful, dangerous and unnecessary vehicles.

“More than 150 car models are now too big to fit in average car parking spaces, according to analysis conducted by Which?.”

nostr:npub1xwc2flgpz7axhq66e8teqdtv5j6zf3xerzqgdl2dy9hurcy86jdsleze8u there's also a problem with the marketing of "SUV Coupés" to those who would have previously driven superminis which are basically a small SUV with a supermini engine - they are slower than a supermini and also easily unbalanced in the event of a collision, but people (especially those in family groups with kids)still buy them due to perceptions of "convenience/refinement" and the extra space inside)
