That's the thing isn't it? I propose this to my chat partners which are mostly family members and a few close friends and they say "we all have WhatsApp, let's stay with that" and that's it. Nobody seems to be willing to look and learn about something new. 🙄

1) I'm pretty curious but also conservative and prudent when it comes to new technologies.

2) Network effect in social media is a bitch

3) Signal is a time-tested privacy oriented chat app, SimpleX no. Or am I wrong

1) Me too 2) I 100% agree 3) Some time ago SimpleX was often a topic here on Nostr and recommended as very privacy oriented. That's actually all I can say about it. I don't use it because I wouldn't know with whom. 🤷‍♂️
