Bitcoin is a weapon of self defense. People need to stop trying to manicure Bitcoins image. Everything is actually good for Bitcoin.

from what i gather it seems like people are afraid that bitcoin will be stopped somehow if it's classified as a weapon by the us govt. otherwise i guess nothing on earth can stop it, unless it becomes a 2a issue 🙄
somehow i doubt the us govt will classify bitcoin as a weapon, since it can't do physical bodily harm. however in the other sense, bitcoin is a non-violent weapon for self-defense
Whether they do or don't is irrelevant IMO. If they want to come for Bitcoin they'll do it. Bad for climate. Financial terrorism. "weapon". Any of them will do just fine for state actors to justify their own attempts at self preservation.

Bitcoin will out compete and out survive the United States of America. The question or concern rather is more one of timing and obstacles. Obviously people alive today will have an easier go of it if the US doesn't become Bitcoin hostile.
