Thinking about nostr (and bitcoin) brings the image of forest to mind. Lots of trees and plants connected by a network of mycelium, all speaking a shared language and passing knowledge around to help new lifeforms emerge into the ecosystem. All doing unique jobs, all competing and balancing.
