Admittedly I don't have anything to co tribute to the subject of African architecture, but I was reading a book on building with cob materials and found this interesting aside that talked about buildings in Kenya a long time ago.

I'm a massive fan of Manchankura btw, breathtaking innovation.

Thanks for sharing this. The article matches up very well with what I felt when working the streets of Nairobi and feeling like the buildings didn't match the atomsphere.

Also the Magatte Wade podcast is a Gem. I really hope to see her work have an impact over the trajectory that Africa is taking.
