One of the things I learned in the US Health Care system: you better ask a ton of questions because for every health situation there is always going to be a very, very easy and wrong solution.

"Wrong" is a relative term. Profitable for Big Pharma is the goal.

Not necessarily. Pharma interferes for sure, but nurses and doctors either with little time or literally burning out is also a huge source of: "oh do you just want the pill? Sure, here is the pill."
