You can create your PayNym with the Samourai wallet or a "hot" wallet through Sparrow Wallet

You can not create a PayNym in the Sparrow by using a hardware wallet on it.

It has to be a hot wallet

Hot wallet is a wallet that keeps your private key (in form of your 12/24 words) in your online device, like your smartphone or your laptop.
