Open question to the nostr community:
How would someone go about setting up a relay? I don't have any specific coding knowledge although I can stumble my way around just fine.
What kind of hardware can I use? Should I be using server hardware or could I use an old laptop?
I genuinely want to learn more about this protocol and the best way I find would be to jump into the deep end and just set up a relay from scratch.
If anyone could help, that would be amazing!

what do you wanna use it for? paid relay? public free relay? private relay for a community? private relay for personal use?
Good questions. If I were to start with one I would go with private relay for a community. Maybe personal use?
Once my knowledge starts to grow on the subject I'll be able to take it further but I need a starting point.
