As someone who works closely with regulations and regulators in a highly regulated industry (commercial nuclear power), cutting governmental departments isn't going to have a huge impact on government spending (they aren't going to cut military, Entitlement programs or interest payments), but they will finally get the government out of the way of actual free market innovation.

Really hoping for some big cuts at the NRC... Probably won't happen.
