I've been using the Hall Effect version of this for a while now. it's great. It just isn't appropriate for modern games, though, as the stick has very low accuracy.

The version I have has grips, so it's not that small, but yeah, the original SNES controller is rather small
Some people find small controllers more comfy rather than the 360/Juan or even PS, but if works great for you definitely take it
My preferred controller is the Gamecube Keyboard, my beloved
