ai and bitcoin are being run in the same data centers now, so they’re simpatico, and I think each’s demand is good for the other. ai just overtook bitcoin in global power use.
They are being run in same datacenters doesn't mean they are Simpatico !
They are quite the opposite !
#bitcoin sets the datum ROI on compute .. so that unnecessary AI applications with no ROI ( like writing poems :-) never make it to the real world ..
In other words , #AI must have an ROI greater then #btc .. which means they should have an year on year return of 50 % or higher .. as of date ..all of them have ZERO return .. gross wastage because of the tremendous hype ..
I only meant simpatico in that the interest in one feeds the network power of the other. I’m no expert, but I know the data centers are making money as we speak leasing computing power to ai companies
