The new Damus TestFlight build which resolves the Apple zaps issue works. One more tap to zap the note. The image shows the view in Damus which only shows likes for reactions, while in Snort I can see zaps. Not ideal for stats, but in my opinion a very elegant work around to make the best of a bad situation.

It’s a two click zap now, which doesn’t bother me. It sucks that zaps can’t be shown as reactions in order to be compliant. My understanding is that this is actually zapping the profile which Apple doesn’t have an issue with.
